Dish Soap Method

This method is quiet similar to the wet paper one… start by filling a bowl with water and dish soap, put it in the microwave – put it in motion for a minimum of 1 minute on the highest temperature or until there are steam. Remove the bowl and using a sponge wipe the inside of the microwave. Do not forget to clean the door too- people often omit to clean the door.

Baking Soda Method

Baking Soda is the go-to for many cleaning freaks. This is a very important product if you have stuck food in the microwave. Use baking soda to form a paste and place it on the solidified stuck food. Allow it to sit for a minimum of 5 minutes- wipe it down with a wet sponge- repeat the process if necessary till you get rid of everything.

Vinegar And Water Solution

This is as the dish soap method, don’t forget to use a microwave safe bowl, mixing 1:1 ratio water to vinegar.

Place it in the microwave for few minutes to steam. Make sure to clean the device dry before using it again to ensure that no vinegar residues remain inside your microwave.

Lemon, like vinegar, is an excellent natural disinfectant for microwave ovens. Simply half a lemon and place cut side down on a microwavable platter. Place the plate in the microwave with a few teaspoons of water until steam appears. Remove the dish from the microwave and wipe away any extra liquid; that’s all there is to it. Wipe off the interior and exterior of your microwave door once more.
